We are a growing company in the logistics field, offering a niche service in temperature control. This role will have dual responsibilities of serving as an Evening Coordinator with certain Delivery and Driver duties.

Evening Driver & Coordinator
Full-time – Monday to Friday, from 2:00PM to 10:30 PM

Compensation: Starting at $28/hour

Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities

Plan and oversee the loading and unloading of trailers.
Driving pick-ups, receiving, and linehauls
Frequent use and creation of schedules
Maximize trailer loads while ensuring product safety.
Manage the route and parcel sorting team.
Provide guidance and ensure performance follow-ups with the team.
Ensure the availability and safety of equipment, both on the road and in the warehouse.
Support the dispatch team when needed.
Ensure compliance with established procedures.
Follow up with drivers while on the road and upon their return to the warehouse.
Be responsible for budget tracking and operating costs within the department.
Perform any other related duties.

Qualifications

Requirements

High school diploma required.
Standard Class 5 license with a clear abstract
Forklift certified with experience in counter balance and reach trucks
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position in transport/operations.
Knowledge of Edmonton geography (an asset).
Skills

Ability to multitask.
Strong Initiative.
Strong sense of commitment.
Ability to work without supervision.
Ability to bring people together positively and with good spirit.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: Starting at $28/hour
Scheduled Hours: 40 hours per week
