The control center manager supervises and oversees the team of coordinators to ensure the performance, compliance, and quality of the temperature-controlled network in real time. He/she supports decision-making and the management of critical situations, ensures the rapid implementation of corrective actions, particularly in relation to temperature alerts and alarms, and maintains effective communication with stakeholders.
He/she leads the team, sets priorities, supports skills development, and rigorously monitors performance to optimize network operations, comply with standard operating procedures (SOPs), and achieve the quality assurance department’s objectives.

• Define the objectives, priorities, roles, and responsibilities of the team of coordinators
• Supervise and develop the team, monitor performance indicators, and correct any discrepancies
• Oversee the management of temperature alerts and alarms across the network and ensure that corrective actions are implemented quickly
• Support the team in critical situations, validate operational decisions, and ensure effective communication between shifts
• Maintain a motivating work environment by promoting collaboration, motivation, and proactive conflict management
• Ensure rigorous documentation in shared logs
• Validate the quality and consistency of end-of-shift reports
• Supervise remote temperature management and monitor network linehaul movements via Samsara, tracking anomalies
• Intervene in the management of critical delays and support root cause analysis with the teams concerned
• Ensure that evening/night situations are adequately managed by the team
• Oversee the coordination of mechanical incidents with external service providers
• Validate Gantt charts on a daily basis
• Analyze operational results using reports and guide improvement actions
• Perform any other related tasks related to control center management
Education
· Degree in transportation, logistics, or a related field
Experience
· Minimum of 4 years of experience in transportation operations or a control center, including experience in supervision or team leadership.
Requirements
· Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office
· Knowledge of Microsoft Excel — advanced level
· In-depth and essential knowledge of Canadian geography
· Operational understanding of ground and air transportation networks

Reporting structure
The control center reports to the Quality Assurance (QA) department.
Job type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: ~ $70,000 per year
Benefits: Group insurance paid 50% by the employer after 6 months
Work schedule
· Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
· The schedule may be adjusted according to operational needs.
